# Guideline history

Get the guideline (guidance) value over time for a property (a year-by-year series from 2002 to 2024). Use for "guideline value trend", "how has the guideline value changed", "over the years", appreciation, or any historical value question. Get the current guideline value first, then pass the SAME lat and lng here (and, when you have them, the village, classification and the current rate that lookup returned) so the trend is pulled for the parcel's own street, not an arbitrary one. Do NOT answer a trend question with only the current rate: call this tool. Never use it for an EC or encumbrance request with a year range: that is the registered transactions pull. Free.

  - `zone` string: Registration zone, if known
  - `sro` string: Sub-registrar office name/code, if known
  - `village` string: Village name (as the guideline value lookup returned it)
  - `classification` string: The category/classification from the guideline value lookup (e.g. "Commercial Class I Type - I"), used to pin the parcel's own street
  - `current_value` number: The current guideline rate per sq.ft from the guideline value lookup, used to pin the parcel's own street
  - `street` string: Street name from the guideline value lookup, if known
  - `lat` number: Property latitude (same coordinate used for the guideline value lookup); lets this tool self-resolve the street
  - `lng` number: Property longitude (same coordinate used for the guideline value lookup)
  - `survey_number` string: Survey number, when the property has one
  - `sub_division` string
  - `rev_district_code` string
  - `rev_taluk_code` string
  - `rev_village_code` string
  - `rural_urban` string: "rural" or "urban", as the parcel lookup returned it

## Response `200`

The envelope: ok, status, data, credits_charged, balance_after, request_id

## Other responses

- `401`: No valid credential
- `402`: Not enough credits
- `429`: Rate limit
