# Update Stale Alarm Alert

`PUT /settings/stale-alarm-alert`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verdun.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.verdun.ai/settings/stale-alarm-alert`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Field-specific write, same reasoning as update_slow_triage_target.
0 turns the alert off; null reverts to the server default.

## Request body

- UpdateStaleAlarmAlertRequest: Body for PUT /settings/stale-alarm-alert. REQUIRED but nullable: null clears the Admin setting so the server default applies again, and an omitted field is a 422 rather than an accidental clear.
  - `stale_alarm_alert_minutes` integer, nullable, required: Post to Slack when an alarm has waited in the queue this many minutes. 0 turns the alert off; null reverts to the server default.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- GetStaleAlarmAlertResponse
  - `stale_alarm_alert_minutes` integer, nullable: Threshold set in Admin -> Alerts; null when not set there.
  - `default_minutes` integer, required: What applies when stale_alarm_alert_minutes is null (SLACK_STALE_ALARM_MINUTES, else 5).
  - `effective_minutes` integer, required: The threshold the sweep uses right now. 0 = alert off.
  - `slack_configured` boolean, required: Whether SLACK_STALE_ALARM_WEBHOOK_URL (#monitoring-alerts) is set. False = nothing posts whatever the threshold.

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
