# Rename Demo Collection

`PATCH /events/demo/collections/{collection_id}`

## Path parameters

- `collection_id` string, required

## Request body

- RenameDemoCollectionRequest: Same single-field name contract as create — a distinct model name keeps the PATCH body legible in the generated OpenAPI schema.
  - `name` string, required: Owner-defined Demo tab name. Case-insensitively unique; 'all' is reserved.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- RenameDemoCollectionResponse: The renamed Demo tab, shaped like the create response so the console can replace the row it already holds, plus what the rename actually did.
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Unchanged collection id — clip membership and the tab's console colour key off it
  - `name` string, required: The tab's name after the rename
  - `previous_name` string, required: The tab's name before the rename; equal to `name` when nothing changed
  - `changed` boolean, required: False when the submitted name was already in place (no write, no Activity row)
  - `event_ids` string[], required: Demo events filed under the tab, oldest membership first — unaffected by a rename
  - `created_by_operator_id` string, uuid, nullable: Operator who created the tab, if still on file
  - `created_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the tab was created
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the tab was last modified
