# Manual Voice Down

`POST /events/{event_id}/voice-down`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verdun.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.verdun.ai/events/{event_id}/voice-down`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Operator Talk Down: play the deterrent clip on this event's camera-mapped
speakers, now.

Same resolution and delivery path as the agent, audited as an agent_actions
row with actor=operator. No observation window and no disposition — the
event stays exactly where it is in the queue and the operator keeps
watching. A failed attempt is audited too, then surfaces as a 502.

## Path parameters

- `event_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- VoiceDownResponse: A confirmed manual (operator) announcement. A failure never reaches this model — it raises, and the attempt is still audited.
  - `success` boolean, required: True only when a speaker confirmed the announcement.
  - `speaker_id` string, uuid, required: The speaker that played.
  - `speaker_label` string, required: The speaker's display name.
  - `agent_action_id` string, uuid, nullable: Audit row (agent_actions) recording this announcement, actor=operator.
  - `announced_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the announcement was confirmed.

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
