# Delete an operator-drawn missed-person box

`DELETE /events/{event_id}/missed-person-boxes/{box_id}`

## Request

Soft delete -- excluded from lists and exported annotations from this moment on, but retained in exported camera history (it is the historical fact a later fine-tune export run's fold resolution needs; see the design). Deleting a box never affects any camera's fold -- there is no fold state in this database at all. Only the box's own author, or an ops lead, may delete it.
