# Commit Continued Clip

`POST /events/{event_id}/continued-clip`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verdun.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.verdun.ai/events/{event_id}/continued-clip`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Ingestor only (X-API-Key). Record the uploaded continued clip on the alarm and refresh its card on open consoles. `s3_key` must equal the event's derived clips-continued/ key (422 otherwise). Idempotent: a repeat commit is 200 and changes nothing. 404 for an unknown event.

- `event_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CommitContinuedClipRequest
  - `seconds` integer, required: Length of the uploaded continued clip, in whole seconds (1..30)
  - `s3_key` string, required: The S3 key the continued clip was uploaded to. Must equal the key derived from the event's clip key (clips/<rest> -> clips-continued/<rest>), else 422

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CommitContinuedClipResponse
  - `ok` boolean: Always true on 200, including a repeat commit (idempotent, nothing re-written or re-broadcast)

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
