# Offer Continued Clip

`POST /events/{event_id}/continued-clip/offer`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verdun.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.verdun.ai/events/{event_id}/continued-clip/offer`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Ingestor only (X-API-Key). Whether to cut and upload a continued clip for this alarm. Declines a demo event, an event whose clip derives no continued key, an alarm already continued, and one the AI agent has closed; accepts while the verdict is pending. 404 for an unknown event.

- `event_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ContinuedClipOfferResponse
  - `accept` boolean, required: True: cut and upload the continued clip, then commit it. False: upload nothing
  - `reason` string, required: eligible | verdict_pending (accepted) or demo_event | no_clip | already_continued | agent_closed (declined). An open string: log it, do not switch on it exhaustively
