# Set Report Line

`POST /dispatch-calls/{call_id}/report-line`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verdun.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.verdun.ai/dispatch-calls/{call_id}/report-line`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Confirm, change or clear (outcome null) the daily-report line for a POLICE call.
Verdun staff only; 409 for a non-police call; the alarm must be in the caller's scope.

## Path parameters

- `call_id` string, required

## Request body

- ReportLineRequest
  - `outcome` 'officers_sent' | 'already_aware' | 'report_taken' | 'declined' | 'call_back', nullable: What the dispatcher said, from the closed list. null clears the line (the call is then left out of the customer's daily report).
  - `reference` string, nullable: The dispatcher's reference number, if one was given. Needs an outcome.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ReportLineResponse
  - `id` string, required: dispatch_call id.
  - `report_outcome` string, nullable: The operator-confirmed outcome; null = no line.
  - `report_reference` string, nullable: Operator-confirmed reference number.
  - `ai_outcome` string, nullable: The AI's suggestion (never sent to a customer by itself).
  - `ai_reference` string, nullable: AI-suggested reference number, if any.
