# Update nameservers for a domain

`PATCH /v1/registrar/domains/{domain}/nameservers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vercel.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update the nameservers for a domain. Pass an empty array to use Vercel's default nameservers.

## Path parameters

- `domain` string, required: A valid domain name

## Query parameters

- `teamId` string

- `400`: There was something wrong with the request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: The domain was not found in our system.
- `429`: TooManyRequests
- `500`: InternalServerError
