# Get the auth code for a domain

`GET /v1/registrar/domains/{domain}/auth-code`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vercel.com`
- URL: `https://api.vercel.com/v1/registrar/domains/{domain}/auth-code`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Get the auth code for a domain. This is required to transfer a domain from Vercel to another registrar.

## Path parameters

- `domain` string, required: A valid domain name

## Query parameters

- `teamId` string

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `400`: There was something wrong with the request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: The domain was not found in our system.
- `409`: The domain cannot be transfered out until the specified date.
- `429`: TooManyRequests
- `500`: InternalServerError
