# Delete a DNS record

`DELETE /v2/domains/{domain}/records/{recordId}`

Removes an existing DNS record from a domain name.

## Path parameters

- `domain` string, required
- `recordId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `teamId` string
- `slug` string

## Response `200`

Successful response by removing the specified DNS record.
