# Prepare Workflow Play Partitioned Effects

`POST /api/workflow-play/effects/partitions/prepare`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-flage-org-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-flage-org-slug`

## Request body

- PreparePartitionedEffectsRequest: Prepare logical child effects and deterministic physical transport groups.
  - `children` PartitionedEffectChildRequest[], required: Logical effect requests to reuse or group for provider dispatch.
    - `capability` string, required: Hosted SDK capability used by the child.
    - `effect_key` string, required: Stable semantic identity for this logical child.
    - `request` object, required: Capability-owned provider request; its shape is defined by capability.
    - `request_digest` string, required: Canonical digest of request.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PreparePartitionedEffectsResponse: Partition preparation result separating reuse from provider transport work.
  - `groups` PartitionedEffectGroupResponse[], required: Fresh physical transports that still require provider dispatch.
    - `effect_keys` string[], required: Logical child effect identities in this group.
    - `transport_effect_key` string, required: Stable semantic identity of the transport.
    - `transport_request_digest` string, required: Canonical digest of the grouped physical provider request.
  - `reused` ReusedPartitionedEffectResponse[], required: Request-digest comparison for each reused logical effect.
    - `effect_key` string, required: Stable semantic identity of the reused child effect.
    - `executed_request_digest` string, required: Request digest used by the already-succeeded effect.
    - `observed_request_digest` string, required: Request digest supplied by the current occurrence.
    - `request_drift` boolean, required: Whether the current request differs from the executed request.
  - `succeeded_effect_keys` string[], required: Logical effects already supported by durable success receipts.
