# Create Sequence Exclusion Overrides

`POST /api/sequences/{sequence_id}/exclusions/overrides`

## Request

- SequenceExclusionOverrideRequest
  - `contact_ids` string[], required
  - `override_state` 'force_include'
  - `reason` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SequenceAudienceOverrideReceipt: Exact audience and runtime changes made by an explicit override.
  - `audience_rows_updated` integer, required: Number of audience rows whose override state changed.
  - `instances_resumed` integer, required: Number of eligible runtime instances resumed by this override.
  - `updated` integer, required: Alias for audience_rows_updated, retained by the public API.
