# Post Hosted Entity Resolution

`POST /api/crunchbase/resolve/entities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.verbiflow.com/api/bridge`
- URL: `https://platform.verbiflow.com/api/bridge/api/crunchbase/resolve/entities`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-flage-org-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-flage-org-slug`

## Request body

- EntityResolutionRequest
  - `collection` 'categories' | 'category_groups' | 'locations' | 'organization.companies' | 'principal.investors', required: Crunchbase collection to search. Select locations for location_uuids, categories for industry_uuids, category_groups for category_group_uuids, organization.companies for company_uuids, or principal.investors for investor_uuids.
  - `limit` integer: Maximum candidates Crunchbase may return for each input name.
  - `names` string[], required: Human names to resolve within one collection. Blank values are rejected; output groups retain each normalized input name.

  - `ambiguous` object, required: Original input name to multiple candidates; choose before searching.
  - `matched` ResolvedEntity[], required: Unambiguous exact or sole candidates safe to pass as UUID filters.
    - `name` string, required: The original normalized input name this candidate answers.
    - `permalink` string, nullable, required: Crunchbase permalink slug when the provider returned one.
    - `uuid` string, required: Exact Crunchbase UUID to use in the matching advanced-search field.
    - `value` string, required: Crunchbase's display label for the candidate.
  - `unmatched` string[], required: Normalized input names for which Crunchbase returned no candidate.
