# Send chat presence (typing indicator)

`POST /v1/chat/sendPresence/{instance}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8080`
- URL: `http://localhost:8080/v1/chat/sendPresence/{instance}`
- Auth: API key in header `apikey`

Sends a presence status (composing/available) to a WhatsApp contact, with optional auto-stop delay

## Path parameters

- `instance` string, required

  - `type` 'text' | 'audio'
