# Booking decision for one vendor

`GET /api/v1/decision`

Anonymous. One call turns a license number into a booking decision: a verdict (CLEAR, CONDITIONAL, REVIEW, or DECLINE), the reason codes behind it, letter-grade evidence, the documents to collect for the event type, and an HMAC-signed receipt for the event compliance file. Identify the vendor by license_number or vendor_id (at least one is required). Letter grades only: the numeric VMScore is never exposed here, and the grade is withheld (verdict REVIEW) when the current DBPR license cannot be confirmed. Receipts do not expire and can be verified any time at /api/v1/decision/verify.

        - `code` string, required: Machine-readable reason code, e.g. license_unconfirmed, active_dbpr_hold, insufficient_record.

      - `evidence` object, required: The facts the verdict rests on. Letter grade only.
