# Add Folder

`POST /organizations/folders/add`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.velt.dev/v2`
- URL: `https://api.velt.dev/v2/organizations/folders/add`
- Auth: API key in header `x-velt-api-key` and API key in header `x-velt-auth-token`

Use this API to create a new folder in an organization.

**Requirements:**
- Enable advanced queries option in the Velt Console
- Deploy v4 series of the Velt SDK

## Request body

- object
  - `data` object, required
    - `organizationId` string, required: Organization ID
    - `createOrganization` boolean: If true, creates organization if it doesn't exist
    - `folders` Folder[], required
      - `folderId` string, required: Unique identifier for the folder
      - `folderName` string: Display name of the folder
      - `parentFolderId` string: ID of the parent folder
      - `organizationId` string: Organization ID the folder belongs to
      - `createdAt` integer: Unix timestamp of creation
      - `lastUpdated` integer: Unix timestamp of last update

## Response `200`

Folder created successfully
