# Reset Password

`POST /v1/auth/password/reset`

## Request

Set a new password from a reset link. Unauthenticated — the signed token
is the proof. The link is single-use: it carries a fingerprint of the
password hash it was minted against, and is refused once that hash changes,
so a used or stale link cannot reset the password again.
