# Increment the use counter

`POST /templates/{id}/use`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.varg.ai/v2`
- URL: `https://api.varg.ai/v2/templates/{id}/use`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Bumps the template's use counter. It does not check that the template is
approved, and no body is needed. Rendering a template already counts as
a use, so only call this when you use the template some other way.

## Response `200`

Updated counter

- TemplateUseResponse
  - `success` boolean
  - `useCount` integer: Use counter after the increment

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key / JWT
- `404`: Template or document not found
