# Connect this computer to the account

`GET /v1/computers/edge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uxduck.com`
- URL: `https://api.uxduck.com/v1/computers/edge`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

A signed-in UXDuck's one outbound WebSocket (ADR-0003 C7), with its device id and name in the query. JSON-RPC 2.0: `edge/hello` first, then `edge/ping` every few seconds; silence for 15 s takes it offline. A second connection with the same id replaces the first.

## Other responses

- `101`: Switching to the WebSocket
- `400`: Not a computer's id, or no name
- `401`: Not signed in
- `426`: Not a WebSocket upgrade
- `503`: Accounts are not set up here
