# Get a single organizational unit (department, cluster or section).

`GET /organizations/{organizationId}`

## Request

Returns HTTP error code **404** if the specified organization ID does not exist.

- OrganizationsGetResponse
  - `found` integer, required: The number of organizations found.
  - `data` Organization[], required: Organization schema
    - `organizationId` string, required: Organization ID.
    - `name` string, required: The name of the organizational unit.
    - `type` 'department' | 'cluster' | 'section', required: The type of this organization unit.
    - `parentId` string: The parent of this organization unit.
  - `pageSize` integer: The maximum number of results.
  - `pageStart` integer: The row to start from (0 index based - i.e. 0 is the first row).

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication is required
- `403`: Access to this resource has been denied
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist
