# Get a list of all contacts: persons and business contacts like secretariat or servicedesk.

`GET /contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://people.utwente.nl/peoplepagesopenapi`
- URL: `https://people.utwente.nl/peoplepagesopenapi/contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/utwente/apis/people-pages-api/docs/contacts/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

You can perform full text search using the 'query' parameter and/or use specific filters 'name', 'buildingId' and 'organziationId'.

  - `found` integer, required: The number of contacts found.
  - `data` Contact[], required: Contact schema
    - `contactId` string, required: Contact ID.
    - `name` string, required: Full composite name, including titles.
    - `displayName` string, required: Sortable display name.
    - `givenName` string: First name of this person.
    - `jobtitle` string: Fucntion title of this person (language specific).
    - `mail` string, email: Email address.
    - `phoneWork` string: Work phone number.
    - `phoneMobile` string: Mobile phone number.
    - `phoneAssistant` string: Phone number of assistant.
    - `phoneIfNoAnswer` string: Alternative phone number if no response.
    - `profileUrl` string, uri, required: URL to the profile page (language specific).
    - `researchUrl` string, uri: URL to the research page.
    - `googleScholarUrl` string, uri: URL to the Google Scholar page.
    - `researchGateUrl` string, uri: URL to the ResearchGate page.
    - `pictureUrl` string, uri: URL to the profile picture. Pictures are subject to privacy settings and may not be cached.
    - `affiliations` string: Affiliation(s) for this person. Possible values are `wp` for faculty staff, `professor` for faculty professor, `obp` for supporting staff and `misc` for others (including general numbers for secretariat, servicedesks, etc.).
    - `locations` object[]: Visiting locations (on campus). Contact Location Schema.
      - `location` string, required: Description of the location.
      - `buildingId` string: Building ID (if applicable).
      - `latitude` number: The latitude of the main entrance of the building.
      - `longitude` number: The longitude of the main entrance of the building.
    - `organizations` object[]: Organizations this person is working for. Contact Organization Schema.
      - `organizationId` string, required: Organization ID.
      - `department` string, required: Department (i.e. faculty or service department)
      - `cluster` string: Cluster within department
      - `section` string: Section within department or cluster.
  - `pageSize` integer: The maximum number of results.
  - `pageStart` integer: The row to start from (0 index based - i.e. 0 is the first row).

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication is required
- `403`: Access to this resource has been denied
