# Create Starter Project

`POST /v1/api-performance/starter-projects`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lightsage.com`
- URL: `https://api.lightsage.com/v1/api-performance/starter-projects`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Lightsage-Api-Key`

Creates a starter project from a repository location and returns the saved project.

## Request body

- PublicStartingProjectRequest
  - `name` string, required
  - `repo_url` string, required
  - `ref` string: Branch, tag, or commit SHA.
  - `subdir` string: Project root inside the repository; empty for the root.
  - `install_steps` string[]
  - `source_id` string: Source ID from GET /v1/api-performance/sources.
  - `framework` 'fastify' | 'nuxt' | 'express' | 'spa-js' | 'angular' | 'react' | 'fastapi' | 'vite' | 'nextjs' | 'custom'
  - `enabled` boolean
