# Delete training data documents

`DELETE /training-data/{id}/documents`

Removes documents from a training data configuration by document ID or external ID.

**Rate limit:** 30 requests per minute

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `document_ids` string[]
- `external_ids` string[]

## Response `200`

- DeleteTrainingDataDocumentsResponseBody
  - `deleted_count` integer
  - `request_id` string

## Other responses

- `400` — The request was invalid or could not be completed.
- `403` — The authenticated caller or organization is not allowed to access this endpoint or operation.
- `404`
- `500` — An unexpected internal error occurred.
