# List the answer engines a project can track

`GET /v1/projects/{projectId}/geo/engines`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.usenotra.com`
- URL: `https://api.usenotra.com/v1/projects/{projectId}/geo/engines`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns every engine id this organization can select in `engines` when updating GEO settings. This includes model APIs and consumer surfaces scanned through hosted browsers, such as `google/ai-overview` (Google AI Overview), `google/gemini` (the Gemini app) and `openai/chatgpt` (the ChatGPT app). Legacy engines that a project already tracks stay accepted but are not listed.

    - `id` string, required: Engine id to pass in the `engines` setting.

    - `default` boolean, required: Part of the default engine set for new projects.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: GEO plan or available AI credits required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Organization, project or resource not found
- `409`: Conflict
- `500`: Internal server error
- `503`: Authentication or billing service unavailable
