# Delete Project

`DELETE /projects/{project_id}`

v1.9.x — delete a project and all data.

Returns 409 if any tasks are in_progress, 404 if the project is unknown.

For deleting several projects in one call, see ``DELETE /projects``
(batch form, ``delete_projects_batch`` below) — this single-id endpoint
is unchanged and still the right choice for one project.
