`POST /demo-auth`

## Request

Validate demo password and set a signed access cookie.

On success redirects to /dashboard; on failure re-renders the gate page
with an error message.  Exempt from the MERIDIAN_DEMO read-only
middleware so this endpoint is reachable in preview mode.
