# GET /api/instance/configuration

`GET /api/instance/configuration`

## Request

GetConfigurationStatus gets what declarative configuration manages: the managed resources and the last apply.
 Admin only. It carries resource names and field paths, never a configured value.

## Response `200`

OK

- ConfigurationStatus: ConfigurationStatus is what declarative configuration manages on the instance.
  - `serial` string: The state record serial; zero before any apply has changed something.
  - `configDigest` string: Identifies the applied configuration, with sensitive values masked before hashing.
  - `appliedBy` string: The apply path ("cli" or "startup") and the host of the last apply.
  - `version` string: The Memos version of the last apply.
  - `managedResources` ConfigurationStatusManagedResource[]: The resources the configuration manages.
    - `resource` string: The resource name. Format: identity-providers/{idp}, instance/settings/{setting}, or users/{user}
    - `source` string: The configuration file that declares the resource.
    - `managedFields` string[]: The field paths, in JSON names, the configuration manages; "*" means the whole resource.
    - `ignoredFields` string[]: The managed field paths the configuration does not write after creation, so the API accepts edits to them.
  - `applyTime` string, date-time: When the last apply that changed something ran.
