# Create a Stripe Checkout session for the requested tier

`POST /v1/billing/checkout`

## Request

Returns a URL to redirect the browser to. A browser-redirect flow (card entry on Stripe's hosted page), not meaningful for an agent to call directly.

- `400`: Invalid or missing tier
- `503`: Billing not configured yet (no Stripe keys, or no price set for that tier)
