# Match apps to an intent

`POST /apps/match`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.uselamina.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://app.uselamina.ai/v1/apps/match`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Rank the workspace apps that best fit an intent, document, or a specific field — useful when embedding Lamina into a document/form workflow. Provide at least one of intent, document, or fieldName.

## Request body

- object
  - `intent` string: Free-text description of the goal.
  - `document` object: Document context to match against.
  - `fieldName` string
  - `fieldDescription` string
  - `modality` 'image' | 'video' | 'audio'
  - `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Matched apps

- object
  - `data` object, required: Ranked app matches with reasoning.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `500`: Internal server error
