# Record Milestone

`POST /v1/me/milestones`

Record a user milestone (e.g. first_strategy_created, first_backtest).

first_* milestones are first-write-wins (Q-0491): a re-fired client
event must not move the recorded activation moment. Count milestones
overwrite as before.

A milestone is a REACH marker, never activation: recording one (a
backtest included) does not complete onboarding. ``onboarding_completed``
is stamped only on real activation — a typed chat message — by
``sync_activation_completion`` at /v1/me (Q-0852; cohort F-03-2/F-13-8).
