# Get current user

`GET /user/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api`
- URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api/user/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Return the currently authenticated user.

## Response `200`

  - `id` string, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `email` string, required
  - `image` string, nullable, required
  - `role` string, nullable, required
  - `managedProfileFields` string[], required: Profile fields the custom OAuth/OIDC provider manages for this user. Kaneo updates them at sign-in and refuses changes to them.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: User not found
- `429`: The API key exceeded its rate limit or usage quota. Wait the number of seconds in Retry-After before retrying. The X-RateLimit headers are sent only when the rate limit was hit.
