# Remove a manual resource link

`DELETE /external-link/task/{taskId}/{id}`

## Request

Remove a manually added link from a task. Integration-managed links cannot be removed through this endpoint.

## Response `200`

Resource link removed

- DeletedExternalLink
  - `id` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid link data
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: No permission to update the task
- `404`: Task or manual resource link not found
- `429`: The API key exceeded its rate limit or usage quota. Wait the number of seconds in Retry-After before retrying. The X-RateLimit headers are sent only when the rate limit was hit.
