# List assignable workspace roles

`GET /admin/workspaces/{workspaceId}/roles`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api`
- URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api/admin/workspaces/{workspaceId}/roles`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

List the roles an administrator can give members of a workspace: the built-in viewer, member and admin roles plus the workspace's custom roles. Ownership is changed with the ownership transfer instead.

## Path parameters

- `workspaceId` string, required

## Response `200`

Assignable role names

- string[]: Role names an administrator can assign in the workspace.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `403`: The caller is not an instance administrator or is authenticated with an API key
- `404`: Workspace not found
- `429`: The API key exceeded its rate limit or usage quota. Wait the number of seconds in Retry-After before retrying. The X-RateLimit headers are sent only when the rate limit was hit.
