# Restore an archived workspace

`POST /admin/workspaces/{workspaceId}/restore`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api`
- URL: `https://cloud.kaneo.app/api/admin/workspaces/{workspaceId}/restore`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Make an archived workspace usable again, with all of its data, members, and integrations as they were. Requires the `workspaces:archive` instance permission; API keys are rejected.

## Path parameters

- `workspaceId` string, required

## Response `200`

The workspace's archive state

- AdminWorkspaceArchiveState
  - `id` string, required
  - `archivedAt` string, date-time, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `403`: The caller lacks the instance permission or is authenticated with an API key
- `404`: Workspace not found
- `409`: The workspace is not archived (code WORKSPACE_NOT_ARCHIVED)
- `429`: The API key exceeded its rate limit or usage quota. Wait the number of seconds in Retry-After before retrying. The X-RateLimit headers are sent only when the rate limit was hit.
