# Bulk export deals to CSV

`POST /deals/export`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.usehindsight.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.usehindsight.com/api/v1/deals/export`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Generate a CSV file of deal data with flexible filtering and column selection.
Returns an export_id to track the job status and download the file when ready.

## Request body

- ExportDealsRequest
  - `columns` string[], required: Array of column IDs to include in the export
  - `filters` object: Optional filters to apply
    - `deal_ids` string[]: Specific deal IDs to export
    - `owner_ids` string[]: Filter by owner IDs
    - `status` string[]: Filter by deal stages
    - `close_date` object
      - `from` string, date
      - `to` string, date
    - `amount` object
      - `min` number
      - `max` number
    - `competitor_ids` string[]
    - `deal_type` string[]
    - `region` string[]
    - `industry` string[]
    - `analyzed` boolean
    - `verified` boolean

## Response `200`

Export job started

- ExportDealsResponse
  - `success` boolean
  - `export_id` string: Unique export job ID
  - `status` 'pending': Initial status is always pending
  - `message` string
  - `estimated_completion` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
- `429`: Too many requests - rate limit or applicable usage quota exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
