# Get export status

`GET /deals/export/{export_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.usehindsight.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.usehindsight.com/api/v1/deals/export/{export_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Check the status of a bulk export job and get the download URL when ready.

## Path parameters

- `export_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Export status

- ExportStatusResponse
  - `export_id` string
  - `status` 'pending' | 'completed' | 'failed': Current export status
  - `download_url` string, uri, nullable: Download URL (available when status is completed)
  - `rows_exported` integer, nullable: Number of rows in the export
  - `error` string, nullable: Error message if status is failed
  - `created_at` string, date-time
  - `completed_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `failed_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the download URL expires (7 days after completion)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Export not found
- `500`: Internal server error
