# Edit team

`POST /teams/{teamId}`

Partially updates directory team overrides (name, description). Only provided fields are applied. Null name clears the override and restores the HR name. The API key must be associated with a team administrator or a lead of the team / an ancestor team.

## Response `200`

The updated team.

## Other responses

- `400`: 400
- `401`: Missing, invalid, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: API key lacks the required resource or access level.
- `404`: Team not found
- `422`: 422
