# Delete open headcount

`POST /open-headcount/{headcountId}/delete`

Deletes an open headcount row and its linked team assignments. The API key's associated user must be a team administrator.

## Response `200`

The open headcount row was deleted.

## Other responses

- `400` — 400
- `401` — Missing, invalid, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403` — API key lacks the required resource or access level.
- `404` — Open headcount not found
- `422` — 422
