# Create badge

`POST /badges`

Creates a badge for the authenticated organization. The API key's associated user must be a badge administrator.

## Request body

- object
  - `badgeName` string, required
  - `description` string
  - `discoverMessage` string
  - `managerUserIds` string[]
  - `publishImmediately` boolean

## Response `200`

The created badge.

## Other responses

- `400` — 400
- `401` — Missing, invalid, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403` — API key lacks the required resource or access level.
- `404` — 404
- `422` — 422
