# SAM.gov Exclusions Search

`POST /us/sam/exclusions-search/v1`

Search every party excluded from US federal contracts, grants and programs: people, firms, clinics, pharmacies and vessels excluded by HHS, OPM, DOJ, EPA and some fifty other agencies. Filter by name, classification, excluding agency, kind of exclusion, state, Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, NPI and the date the exclusion took effect. By name, pages of up to 50. Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is), brought up to date daily.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `from_date` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.

  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Resultados por página (1-50).

      - `excluding_agency` string, nullable, required: The agency that excluded the party, by its code, e.g. `HHS`, `OPM`, `DOJ`, `EPA`, `DLA`; `OFAC` for SAM.gov's copy of the Treasury's sanctions list.
      - `ct_code` string, nullable, required: The cause and treatment code SAM.gov records for the exclusion, e.g. `Z1`, `R`.
      - `exclusion_type` string, nullable, required: `Prohibition/Restriction`, `Ineligible (Proceedings Completed)`, `Ineligible (Proceedings Pending)` or `Voluntary Exclusion`.
      - `comments` string, nullable, required: The excluding agency's note: the authority, the scope, sometimes the names the party also traded under.
      - `cross_reference` string, nullable, required: Other names and related parties the agency links to the exclusion.
      - `active_date` string, nullable, required: When the exclusion took effect (yyyy-mm-dd).
      - `termination_date` string, nullable, required: When the exclusion ends (yyyy-mm-dd); null when it is indefinite.
      - `indefinite` boolean, required: Whether the exclusion has no end date.
      - `record_status` string, nullable, required
      - `updated_date` string, nullable, required: When SAM.gov last created or changed the record (yyyy-mm-dd).
