# SEC Form ADV Private Funds Search

`POST /us/iapd/private-funds-search/v1`

Search every private fund reported to the SEC on Form ADV since 2011 (venture capital, private equity, hedge, real estate and other funds) by free text over the fund, its adviser and general partners, by adviser CRD, fund type, state or country of domicile, minimum gross asset value and filing-date window, current funds only or former ones too. Largest first, pages of up to 50. Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is), brought up to date monthly.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

      - `minimum_investment` number, nullable, required: The minimum investment the fund accepts, US dollars; `0` or `1` when the adviser reports none.
      - `owners_count` integer, nullable, required: Approximate number of beneficial owners.
