# SEC Form ADV Advisers Search

`POST /us/iapd/advisers-search/v1`

## Request

Search every investment adviser registered with the SEC or reporting to it as an exempt reporting adviser (most venture capital firms) by free text over its names, by firm type, state or country of the principal office, whether it manages private funds and minimum assets under management. By legal name, pages of up to 50. Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is), brought up to date daily.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `firm_type` '' | 'registered' | 'exempt_reporting': Tipo de asesor: `registered` (registrado ante la SEC) o `exempt_reporting` (exempt reporting adviser, la mayoría de las firmas de venture capital) (opcional).
