# Delaware Entity by File Number

`POST /us/delaware/entity/v1`

## Request

Look up one Delaware business entity by its file number and return the Division of Corporations' free record: name, incorporation or formation date, entity kind and type, residency, state of formation and the registered agent. `found: false` when the Division has no entity under that number. Live from the Division; not a statement of good standing.

      - `filed_on` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` the Division prints as the incorporation or formation date.
      - `entity_kind` string, nullable, required: As the Division classifies it: `Corporation`, `Limited Liability Company`, `Limited Partnership`, `Statutory Trust`, `Partnership`, `Registered Series`, ...
      - `entity_type` string, nullable, required: The Division's sub-type: `General`, `Bank`, `Benefit Corporation`, `Closed Corp`, `Exempt`, `Series`, ...
      - `residency` 'domestic' | 'foreign', nullable, required: `domestic` when formed in Delaware, `foreign` when formed elsewhere and registered in Delaware.
      - `state` string, nullable, required: State of formation as the Division prints it, e.g. `DELAWARE`, `CALIFORNIA`.
      - `registered_agent` object, nullable, required: The registered agent on file, or null when the Division lists none.
        - `name` string, nullable, required: The registered agent's name as the Division prints it.
        - `address` string, nullable, required: Street address of the registered office.
        - `city` string, nullable, required
        - `county` string, nullable, required: Delaware county of the registered office, e.g. `New Castle`.
        - `state` string, nullable, required: Two-letter state code, normally `DE`.
        - `postal_code` string, nullable, required
        - `phone` string, nullable, required: As printed, e.g. `302-636-5401`.
    - `checked_at` string, required: When this answer was read from the Division, as an ISO timestamp.
