# CNSF Amendments

`POST /mx/cnsf/amendments/v1`

Track how Mexico's Circular Única de Seguros y de Fianzas has changed: every Circular Modificatoria the commission has published since 2014, most recent first, with what it changed, the chapters and annexes it touched, and the Diario Oficial publication behind it. Filter by free text, by `chapter_number`, and by publication window.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `query` string: Optional search terms matched against the text and headings of the provisions.
  - `chapter_number` string: Optional chapter filter (e.g. `6.3` in the CUSF).
  - `published_from` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `published_to` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Results per page (1-25). Every result carries the full text of the provision.

      - `circular_number` string, nullable, required: The circular's own number and year label, e.g. "9/23". Not unique: the source reuses some numbers.
      - `published_at` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` published in the DOF. Null when the source does not state the exact date; it is never inferred, because the year in the circular's number is not reliably the year it was published.
      - `listed_month` number, nullable, required: Month (1-12) the source lists the amendment under.
      - `listed_day` number, nullable, required: Day of the month the source lists the amendment under.
      - `dof_document_id` string, nullable, required: Identifier of the DOF publication, when the source links one. Resolves through the DOF endpoints.
      - `dof_url` string, nullable, required: Link to the DOF publication, when the source offers one.
      - `summary` string, required: Everything the amendment did, as one line. The same content as `changes`, joined, so it can be searched and shown in a list.
      - `changes` string[], required: What the amendment did, as the source describes it, e.g. "Modificación al Anexo 35.1.9".
      - `affected_chapters` string[], required: Chapter numbers the amendment touched, e.g. ["39.6"].
      - `affected_annexes` string[], required: Annex numbers the amendment touched, e.g. ["14.2.1-y"].
      - `affected_urls` string[], required: Links to what the amendment touched.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal error
- `502`: Upstream source returned an error
