# World Bank Indicator Values

`POST /global/world-bank/indicator-values/v1`

Read World Development Indicators values for the 42 economies of Latin America and the Caribbean, 1960 to the latest year, by `indicator_code` (e.g. `SI.POV.GINI`, `SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS`, `NY.GDP.PCAP.CD`; find codes with `world-bank-indicators-search`), `country_code` (ISO3, e.g. `COL`) and `year` or `year_from`/`year_to`. One row per country, indicator and year with a value, with its unit. Served by Croma from its copy (`as_of` says how current the data is).

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `indicator_code` string: Optional indicator code, as the indicators search returns it, e.g. `SI.POV.GINI` (Gini index), `SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS` (unemployment).
  - `country_code` string: Optional three-letter ISO 3166-1 country code, e.g. `COL`, `BRA`, `MEX`.
  - `year` integer: Optional single year, e.g. `2024`. 0 means every year.
  - `year_from` integer: Optional first year of a range, e.g. `2015`. 0 means no lower bound.
  - `year_to` integer: Optional last year of a range, e.g. `2024`. 0 means no upper bound.
  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Results per page (1-200).

      - `source_note` string, nullable, required: The World Bank's definition of the indicator and how it is computed.
      - `source_organization` string, nullable, required: Who produces the underlying data, as the World Bank credits it.
    - `total` number, required: Matches, counted up to 1000.
    - `total_is_exact` boolean, required: False when more than 1000 match: `total` is then 1000, and the pages go on.

    - `total_pages` number, required: Pages over `total`; there are more when `total_is_exact` is false.

      - `obs_status` string, nullable, required: The World Bank's status flag for the value, when it sets one (an estimate, a forecast).
