# GLEIF Entity

`POST /global/gleif/entity/v1`

## Request

Resolve one Legal Entity Identifier and return the whole record with its ownership: the direct and ultimate parents that consolidate it, its fund manager, umbrella fund or head office, why it reports no parent when it does not, and up to 100 entities that report it as their parent. `found: false` when no record carries that LEI. Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is), brought up to date three times a day.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.
