# SIC Sanctions Search

Search every final (en firme) fine Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) has imposed through its consumer-protection investigations directorate since 2013: about 4,000 fines with the case, the resolution, the date, the party fined, the amount in pesos, the conduct and the sector. Free text matches the party, the conduct and the sector. Filter by `party` (the name, matched from the start), `sector`, `case_number`, `resolution_number` and the date of the resolution (`issued_from`/`issued_to`). Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is).

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `query` string: Optional search terms matched against the party fined, the conduct and the sector.
  - `party` string: Optional name of the party fined, matched from the start. Case and accents are ignored.
  - `sector` string: Optional sector, e.g. `Servicios de financiación`, `Turismo`, `Comercio electrónico`, matched from the start. Case and accents are ignored.
  - `case_number` string: Optional case (radicado), e.g. `24 503714` or `24-503714`.
  - `resolution_number` string: Optional number of the resolution that imposed the fine, e.g. `40639`.
  - `issued_from` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `issued_to` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Results per page (1-100).
