# Gaceta del Congreso Issues

Browse the issues of the Gaceta del Congreso themselves: every issue either chamber has published since 2000, by number, chamber and publication date. Use this to find an issue by its citation; use the Documents endpoint to search what is inside them.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `query` string: Optional free-text search. Matches the document's title, its epígrafe and its full text.
  - `chamber` 'any' | 'senado' | 'camara': Chamber: `senado` (Senado de la República), `camara` (Cámara de Representantes), or `any`.
  - `number` string: Optional number. Leading zeros are ignored, so `02` and `2` match the same thing.
  - `published_from` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `published_to` string, date: Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.
  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Results per page (1-50).

      - `id` string, required: Stable identifier: chamber, the date as the Imprenta prints it, and the number, e.g. `camara:28-08-2026:1161`. Built from the three values the Imprenta itself keys a gaceta on, so the handful of issues carrying an impossible date still have an id.
      - `number` string, required: The number as the Imprenta prints it, leading zeros included: "1161", "02", "010". Numbering restarts each year and each chamber keeps its own run.
      - `number_key` string, required: The same number with leading zeros dropped ("02" becomes "2"). Filter on this to match a gaceta whether the caller writes the zeros or not.
      - `chamber` 'camara' | 'senado', required: `senado` (Senado de la República) or `camara` (Cámara de Representantes). Each chamber publishes its own numbered run of the shared gazette.
      - `published_at` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` the gaceta was published. Null on the nine issues whose printed year is impossible (`0009`, `0200`, `0209` and the like) — typos in the source that this connector refuses to guess at.
      - `printed_date` string, required: The date exactly as the Imprenta prints it (`dd/MM/yyyy`), including the impossible ones. Kept because it is part of the gaceta's upstream identity.
      - `legacy_label` string, nullable, required: How the Imprenta labelled the issue's main document ("Acta de Comisión", "Proyecto de Ley"). Null on about 13,100 of the issues: the practice was abandoned around 2020. Use the documents' own titles to classify, not this.
      - `official_url` string, required: The Imprenta's page for this gaceta, which serves the issue's PDF.
