# IGAC Parcel

`POST /co/igac/parcel/v1`

Retrieve the polygon of one parcel (terreno) of Colombia's national cadastre by its 30-digit cadastral number: the geometry as GeoJSON in WGS84, its centre, the block or vereda it sits in, the zone and the previous number. From IGAC's monthly publication, about 5.1 million parcels. Served by Croma.

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `cadastral_number` string, required: The 30-digit número predial nacional, e.g. `170130001000000010001000000000`. Spaces, dots and hyphens are ignored.

        - `type` string, required: `Polygon`, `MultiPolygon`, `LineString`, `MultiLineString` or `Point`.

      - `geometry_url` string, nullable, required: Set when the geometry is too large to carry inline (a rural zone can run to tens of MB): the same GeoJSON geometry, kept by us, and `geometry` is null.
